Please complete and submit to apply for the Atelier Dualis full time program.

Atelier Dualis is a private educational resource located in Eastern Pennsylvania to assist aspiring artists in their pursuit of a professional fine art career. Founded by Erin Anderson, the Atelier Dualis program focuses on the essential fundamentals of draftsmanship, the anatomy of form, the elements of perception, and various methods of painting. The program encompasses principles applicable to all venues of the realist endeavor including Still Life, Trompe L'oeil, Landscape, Portrait and the Figure. Traditional materials are employed throughout the training process focusing strictly on Charcoal and Oil.
The studio curriculum is divided into 7 sections: Introduction to Drawing, Governing the Material, Anatomy of Form, Natural Forms, Introduction to Painting, Painting Techniques and Endgame.
The program also endeavors to promote career preparation in the form of a business curriculum that includes the basics of marketing, PR, Branding, and Entrepreneurship. Real life application of business principles is provided through use of the student gallery space where students can develop their brand, establish base price points, and sell their work.
On average, students can complete the apprenticeship program in three years. However, the intimate setting of Atelier Dualis allows for tailoring to fit individual goals. Some areas of focus may require more time (meticulous rendering techniques, etc.) and will increase the length of the program. Prospective students must be willing to attend full time and be extremely dedicated to completion of the training.
Atelier Dualis has a very small instructor to student ratio, accepting no more than fifteen apprentices at any given time. We value this format as it allows for a great deal of individual attention. The studio is open weekdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
All inquiries should be made to erin@atelierdualis.com
Cost of attending the Atelier Dualis program is $500.00 per month/ $6000.00 per year. Monthly payments are due on the first of each month.
Instruction at Atelier Dualis is provided by Erin Anderson.
